BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I’m Austin, a photographer based in Portland, Oregon.

I’m also an Army veteran, and photography has become an important part of my mental health recovery after my time in service.

What started as a simple way to get outside and clear my head slowly turned into a meaningful creative outlet and a way to reconnect with the world around me.

Spending time behind the camera helps me slow down and notice the small moments that are easy to miss - light across a quiet landscape, animals moving through their environment, or the stillness of a place most people walk past without noticing.

Much of my photography focuses on nature, wildlife, and the quiet spaces around Portland that offer a sense of calm and perspective.

While photography is not something I currently do full-time, it is something I care deeply about.
