Hi, I’m Austin, a photographer based in Portland, Oregon.

I'm a portrait / Animal and wildlife photographer.

 

My work is rooted in a deep passion for understanding animal behavior and capturing raw, unfiltered moments that reveal the soul of the wild. Whether it’s the quiet resilience in a bird’s posture or the tension in a predator’s stare, I strive to document the real stories animals live every day, not just how they look, but who they are.

Animals have taught me more about myself than I ever expected. Psychologically, meditatively, even spiritually, they’ve helped me slow down, listen deeper, and begin to heal. Photography has become both a creative outlet and a form of self-reconnection, where empathy and wildness meet through the lens.
